Armed with an undeniable talent, Lucy Woodward has blended a variety of influences; Soul, Rock, Pop, and other elements, into a sound that's all her own. 'While You Can', is a great example of Woodward's strong and sexy vocals with a delightfully melodic modern sound. The album marks the arrival of a captivating and irresistible new artist/5(47).

Lucy Woodward has a lot of potential, and While You Can is well worth the money! Very enjoyable and surprising, because "Dumb Girls" is only one song--it does not reflect the rest of the album in terms of style. It's pop, rock, with a little R&B thrown in the mix. Well recommended/5(46).

While You Can is loaded with knockout hooks ("Trust Me [You Don't Wanna See This]" and "Trouble With Me" are standouts), and a hint of soul ("The Breakdown") amongst the predominantly pop-alternative arrangements works well with Woodward's powerful, expressive voice. But the record is ultimately derivative of what has come elorarenformo.wforheartdinetpmingbersivabitguepandall.co: $

Complete with teeth-baring mentions of flipping the bird and a few low-level cuss words, the song is a perfectly packaged advertisement for Woodward and While You Can -- gritty, confident, but still romantic.
